My artistic practice is rooted in ceramics, a medium that I see as sharing many affinities with the skin, while also carrying a long history linked to use and functionality. Drawing on this ambiguity, my early installations explored how bodies conform—or fail to conform—to the roles and functions assigned to them, both individually and collectively.
In my commissioned works, sculptural shelves or wall frescoes adapt and dialogue with the architecture and the script of an environment.
