This series of handcrafted tile sculptures represents my thoughts on function and dysfunction in everyday life. Some tiles have sculptural elements and can display objects, like those found in a museum shop or a library. Others are poetic shapes without functionality. This work supports other pieces, acting as a stage for them or standing alone. The shelf becomes a space for imagination to flourish, where utility and creativity intertwine.
